The Journal of International Advanced Otology (J Int Adv Otol) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original clinical and basic research in otology, neurotology, audiology, and skull base medicine. The journal operates a double-anonymized peer review process to safeguard scientific quality and impartiality. It is published in English and is online only. The journal follows a continuous publication model in which accepted articles are released online as soon as they are ready and are added to the current volume's six issues as they appear, rather than waiting for an issue to be completed. The Journal of International Advanced Otology is the official publication of the European Academy of Otology and Neurotology (EAONO) and the Politzer Society, which jointly own the journal; publishing services are provided by Caleo. The Journal of International Advanced Otology publishes work of the highest scientific and clinical value that advances knowledge and improves practice in otology and neurotology.
