This notice explains how Review My Manuscript ("we", "us") processes personal data when you use reviewmymanuscript.com and related services. It is written for international users and follows a GDPR-style transparency layout. It does not replace legal advice.

If you use our Turkish marketplace (hakemneder.com), separate disclosures may apply under Turkish law; they are not published on this English site. For all users, our Privacy Policy describes cookies, security practices, and processing in more detail.

• Transaction data: payment-related references processed by our regulated Merchant-of-Record payment partner; we do not store full card details on our servers.
• Technical & usage data: IP address, device/browser information, logs, cookies and similar technologies (see Privacy Policy).
• Support & communications: messages you send via contact forms or email.

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR-style)

We process data for purposes such as:

• Providing the service (account, upload, review generation, downloads) — typically contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or equivalent.
• Security, abuse prevention, and debugging — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), balanced against your rights.
• Legal and tax compliance — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) where applicable.
• Analytics and product improvement where configured — often consent or legitimate interests, as described in the Privacy Policy / cookie notice.

4. Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and dispute resolution requirements. Manuscripts and related artefacts may be subject to product-specific retention and deletion rules in the Privacy Policy and in-app settings.

5. Processors and international transfers

We use trusted infrastructure and subprocessors (e.g. hosting, email, analytics, payment, AI providers) who process data on our instructions. Some may be located outside your country; where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your rights

Where applicable law grants you rights (for example under the GDPR), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.
