Review My Manuscript publishes clear, sourced, and correctable information about pre-submission review. Competitor comparisons use official sources. We do not publish fabricated testimonials, hidden sponsorships, or fake review scores.
Who is responsible
Review My Manuscript was built by Prof. Dr. Alp Özgün Börcek, professor of neurosurgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine (Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Department of Neurosurgery). His ORCID is 0000-0002-6222-382X (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6222-382X). The same person is named as founder on the About page.
How a report is produced
A PDF or DOCX is received through the upload flow. The file type and size are checked, then readable text, headings, tables, and figure captions are parsed. Applicable checks look at the research question, methods and study design, statistical reporting, ethics and reporting guidelines, whether the results match the claims, and questions a reviewer might raise. When the manuscript type fits, PubMed, Crossref, and Semantic Scholar records can add bibliographic context, and public frameworks such as CONSORT, STROBE, and PRISMA can inform reporting checks. Those sources are not commercial partnerships or endorsements. The output is a structured report with revision priorities, including methodology risks, statistical issues, literature context, journal-fit suggestions, and an action plan that can be exported as DOCX. Scores summarize readiness and reporting signals in the submitted text. They are not acceptance probabilities, human reviewer scores, or a journal decision. No credit card is required to upload. The free preview shows the most important issue with a suggested fix. The full report is a separate, optional purchase.
What the system does not do
The report does not replace a human peer reviewer, a domain expert, or a supervisor. It cannot establish scientific truth, and it does not guarantee acceptance or publication. It cannot know a protocol, raw data, code, or specialist context that is not in the uploaded files. Literature matches and bibliographic details can be incomplete or wrong and should be checked against the official record. The product does not generate, rewrite, or ghostwrite manuscript text. Authors revise their own draft from the report. Most peer-review platforms either rewrite the manuscript or hand it to a generic chat model; this product does neither.
Manuscript handling
Your manuscript stays confidential, is never shared with third parties, and is kept while your account is active. You can delete your manuscript from your dashboard at any time, or email contact@reviewmymanuscript.com to have all your data deleted. Uploaded manuscripts are used only to generate your report. Where available, we enable the provider no-training option; any model-training use requires explicit consent.
Sources, comparisons, and corrections
Time-sensitive prices, features, and metrics include an official source and a verification date. Comparison pages separate the job first—human language editing, writing assistance, similarity checking, journal discovery, or reviewer-style pre-submission assessment—and compare only claims that can be checked. We state when our own product is not the right choice, we do not use competitor logos, and we do not publish unsupported negative claims. Material errors are corrected after they are verified.
