Catalog scope notes
Gynecologic Oncology is the The Society of Gynecologic Oncology's (SGO) official peer-reviewed journal. It is dedicated to publishing high-quality science and educational content that addresses the full continuum of gynecologic cancer care. The Journal will publish innovative research that provides actionable insights related to prevention, detection, treatment and survivorship in gynecologic cancers. The focus of these publications will generally be clinically relevant and includes clinical trials, radiation and surgical innovation, health outcomes and diversity research, epidemiology, and patient-centered quality of life research. Translational research with promise to affect clinical treatment innovation will receive priority. With an international editorial board of experts and key opinion leaders, the Journal will support multiple stakeholders as they aim to solve complex gynecologic cancer problems. Providing essential reading for all stakeholders we will publish original research, invited reviews, editorials, perspectives, and correspondence. Importantly, as the official journal of the SGO, the Journal will publish communications from the SGO including abstracts, practice statements and guidelines.
